About me

30-something general numpty youth worker. Strident lefty feminist, champion procrastinator, internet addict and all round generally nice person. Husband and cats sold separately.

I mostly blog about benefits and welfare, youth work, disability issues and whatever else takes my fancy.

So sorry you are newly diagnosed. It is a hard road. However, I have found that there are blessings. I know that sounds way too perky and Pollyanna-ish, but it’s true. I’m 12+ years in and I can say I have learned so much that it outweighs the pain of having this illness. I hope it will be the same for you. There is Joy to be found in the journey!
